We are located in the Frederick Street Mall in Kitchener, just off the Expressway at the corner of Frederick and Edna streets.
Mary Catherine's began as a tiny linen store in the unique surroundings of St. Jacobs, Ontario.
Our objective is to provide each customer with the fabric types, patterns and articles that suit
the comfort style and personal taste of the individual. We make many of the articles we sell and
make every effort to source whatever we purchase for sale from Canadian manufacturers.. We
often design individual articles for special occasions, such as weddings, christenings, or birthdays.
We design and make handkerchiefs, nightgowns, christening gowns, quilts, pillows, place mats,
runners, tablecloths, curtains,  and other home decor articles. We also carry a large variety of
ready made linens. We carry crochet, battenburg, tuscany,cutwork
Our objective has always been to provide the very best quality at the very best price. This
policy is in direct opposition to the very successful marketing practices of most companies. The
difference is that our prices remain fairly constant, while most companies offer a limited
selection at a very high mark-up and later sell off what is left for much less.
Our approach allows a continuous choice and price advantage.
Our market is the consumer who thinks ... not the impulse buyer.
We take pleasure in helping our customers find exactly what they want and we are therefore
happy to fill specific requests.
One of our specialties is sourcing difficult-to-find articles.
We can source anything to do with handwork, including patterns and supplies.
